Steve Taplin, successful entrepreneur and founder of several companies, is a professional real estate investor specializing in the acquisition, redevelopment, management, and sales of real estate. As a seasoned investor, he has hands-on experience in foreclosures, short sales, loan, modifications, TICs, REITs, and new construction. To date, Steve has been a principal in over 3,500 investment property transactions totaling over $200 million worth of real estate.

Steve earned both a Degree in Business and a MBA with a concentration in entrepreneurship. He started his successful career in sales, at IBM. When he left, he had grown to be one of the top sales people at IBM, selling over $80 million in services to Fortune 500 companies. Today, after establishing several successful real estate investment companies, Steve is a managing partner in AZ Investment Property Experts. As an author, education, and professional speaker, Steve has earned his place as an established authority in the world of real estate investment opportunities.

Daniel Butterfield is an accomplished professional with more than 15 years of real estate investment experience. With a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the U of MN IT, he has utilized his detailed-oriented expertise of an Engineer to his advantage. Daniel began his career as a design engineer for NASA’s Johnson Space Center. Later, he joined Anderson Consulting (Accenture) where his accomplishments included integrating software and redesigning business process for Fortune 500 companies.

In 1997, Daniel has turned his business acumen toward distressed non-traded asset investments. This included an active business with a focus on residential real estate investments and built-in exit strategies for these properties ranging from one month to two years. His capabilities run the gamut from IRA/401k investments, loan origination, property management, repair and remodeling, real estate contracts, credit repair, global outsourcing, web development, marketing and integration of package software.
